NOTE: The "funnel" is not visible in this video, which was filmed while the tornado was produced nearby. Emergency broadcasts were unable to confirm the exact location of the tornado until several minutes after this video was recorded. This storm was considered a PDS and produced a large wedge tornado. Power flashes and debris were being reported during the filming of this video and damage in Eastern Longview and along the path of the tornado was documented. This tornado was only one of seven tornadoes that touched down across East Texas on December 23, 2009 (in addition to a tornado touchdown in Louisiana and another in Arkansas).
