PART 2: My fellow meteorologist friends and myself from the UK went to the states shortly after the devastating tornado outbreak in late April 2011. This storm was observed on May 1st in NE Texas. It produced a mesocyclone, a lot of cloud to ground lightning, and some interesting cloud formations. No tornado was observed, apart from the odd scud-funnel, but there were some local unconfirmed reports that this storm had produced. This storm is T0077 in the ravenstorm archive.
